Further Funding for Fri Night Outreach Work

Great news!

BYP has received funding for the next year to continue to employ 2 sessional detached youth workers in and around Stockton Heath each Friday Night (7.30-10.30pm).

We literally thank God for partners like Stockton Heath Parish Council who have consistently supported BYP to deliver this work in the local area.

This funding represents about 15% of BYP's current annual turnover and so is significant in the current financial climate.

Funding detached youth work in our local area is exactly what is needed in this pandemic as we are unable to run our casual drop in youth work at the Shack at present, so with is in mind, we are especially thankful for the promised funding in this area.

Our current detached team consists of Hannah Kay, Georgie Kennedy, Adam Post and John Harper who have all been trained to deliver this work locally.
